Adapt your skincare routine to avoid breakouts

Caring for breakout-prone skin requires a gentle, personalized approach. It's important to choose products that are right for you and that respect your sensitive skin , while avoiding potentially irritating ingredients as much as possible.

Remove make-up and gently cleanse the skin

Regular, gentle cleansing is essential to remove impurities, makeup, and excess oil , all of which can make breakouts worse. However, it’s important to use a cleanser that respects your skin barrier. Here, sulfate-free cleansers are recommended, as they won’t be harsh on your skin. Products containing soothing ingredients like oatmeal, ivy, aloe vera, or chamomile will take care of you!

Grangettes Makeup Remover Lotion cleanses, moisturizes and soothes the skin. It effectively removes impurities and makeup, leaving your skin clean and fresh.

Clean your face twice a day, always with lukewarm water, as hot water can irritate the skin and exacerbate redness and inflammation.

How to properly hydrate your skin when you suffer from breakouts?

Well-hydrated skin is more resistant to irritation and external aggressions. You will therefore need to make sure to use a moisturizing cream suitable for sensitive skin or skin prone to breakouts:

  • Opt for a moisturizer with an impeccable formulation : avoid overly perfumed cosmetics and ingredients such as phenoxyethanol, parabens, silicones, PEGs, irritants, allergens, comedogenic ingredients, petroleum derivatives, endocrine disruptors, pollutants, etc. Use cosmetic analysis applications to be sure that the composition is irreproachable;
  • Look for the right ingredients : Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, bisabolol , and aloe vera are known for their ability to soothe and intensely hydrate skin without causing irritation. Ectoin , on the other hand, is an ingredient that protects your skin from pollution . Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), helps balance sebum production, which can sometimes be the cause of breakouts.

What sun protection against skin rashes?

If your skin is prone torashs, or if you suffer from rosacea, you absolutely must protect it from UV rays. Indeed, exposure to the sun can worsen inflammation and trigger new breakouts. Apply your sun protection daily, even in winter: UV rays are present all year round and can weaken the skin, even when the weather is cloudy.

Opt for an antifungal cream in case of infection

In case of fungal infections, antifungal creams are prescribed to eliminate the fungi. They help prevent their development and help reduce symptoms such as rashes, itching and redness.
